Emad Khalil Shows True Servant's Heart

Medical Assistant Emad Khalil is awarded the 2009 Baptist Healing
Trust and Erie Chapman Foundation Servant???s Heart Award.

 

When Siloam asked staff to submit ideas for delivering
compassionate care more cost-efficiently, the first suggestion
read ???Clone Emad.??? Medical Assistant Emad Khalil has
endeared himself to staff, volunteers and patients. His
unique spirit and gentle manner have earned him the honor
of Finalist for the Baptist Healing Trust and Erie Chapman
Foundation Servant???s Heart Award to be presented at the
Center for Nonprofit Management???s Salute to Excellence
banquet scheduled for September 17. Emad is known
for his ability to sense when people are suffering, not
just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Having
personally experienced religious persecution and the struggle
to assimilate to a new country, Emad has a special ministry
to the refugees and immigrants Siloam serves.
