Siloam serves people who fall through the cracks of the health care system due to financial, cultural or language barriers. In 2009, the clinic conducted 19,329 patient encounters.

-100% of Siloam's patients are uninsured or functionally uninsured.
-Patients live in Davidson County or one of the nine surrounding counties.
- The average income for a family of four is $23,662 - just above the poverty level.
-24% of patients are children.
-9% of patients are over the age of 55.
-80% of patients are foreign-born. Siloam has set the standard for culturally sensitive care for immigrants and refugees and has been overseer for the Tennessee Refugee Medical Screening Program since 2003.
-In 2009, patients came from 90 different homelands and spoke 69 languages.
