Another WISH LIST is for items for hygiene bags for our refugee patients who are brand new to the U.S. We see anywhere from 50-100 newly arriving refugees each month and our supplies
go quickly! We try to include in each hygiene bag the following:
Shampoo
Conditioner
Body wash
(no bar soap please – someone gave us 500 bars!)
Face wash
Toothpaste
Tooth brushes
Dental floss
Baby powder
Baby wipes
Hand Lotion
Cartoon Band-Aids
(the kids get up to 8 shots on Mondays!)
Comb or brush
Children’s vitamins
(chewable or gummy work best but we’ll take what we can get!)
We also have an urgent need for our Physical Therapy patients:
Towels (pastel colors), full size and hand towels
TENS units and electrodes
Shoe inserts, various sizes from Bed, Bath, and Beyond
Kitchen timer
Items can be brought to Siloam Family Health Center
at 820 Gale Lane, Nashville, TN
37204.
